CEBU (Updated) -- Businessman David Lim Jr. has been placed under the Bureau of Immigration's watch list after a viral video showed him shooting a nurse reached Special Assistant to the President, Christopher Bong Go, through Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña.

Cebu City Police Office Director Joel Doria said they already sent a flash alert to all police stations for any sightings of Lim.

Lim, together with his girlfriend Tamae Takahashi, has been encouraged by the police to surrender after the businessman shot 33-year-old nurse Ephraim Nuñal on the left thigh and right ankle along F. Sotto St., Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City at 3 a.m. Sunday, March 19.

Homicide investigators called the incident a road rage because the argument led Lim to shoot Nuñal.

The incident was caught on a dashboard camera by another motorist.

Doria said that all seaports and airports have been alerted for any sightings of the two.

Takahashi was asked to submit herself and act as witness against Lim, or else she will become an accessory to the crime if she remains hiding.

Meanwhile, Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña said the Bureau of Immigration told him that Lim’s passport has not been used in the past 47 hours.

Osmeña identified Lim as the son of the car racer who figured in an accident early this month that led to the death of a fish vendor. (JOB/RVC/SunStar Cebu/SunStar Philippines)
