Burglar runs off with P120 from uptown shop

Saturday, August 12, 2017

A SHOP lost P120 cash to a burglar who entered the premises at the corner of Gorordo Ave. and Escario St. in Cebu City at dawn last Saturday, August 12.

SP03 Darius Lipanan of the Abellana Police Station said that the burglar, who used a motorcycle as a getaway vehicle, reportedly used a crowbar to force the door open.

Louella Alix, who reported the burglary to the police, clarified to SunStar Cebu on Monday, August 14, that the cash had belonged to her shop and not to the Movement for a Livable Cebu, as previously reported, and that the missing amount was P120, not P120,000 as reflected in the police incident report.
