Over P6M worth of illegal drugs seized

TEN drug personalities were arrested in a series of operations and more than P6 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the operatives of Consolacion Police Station (CPS) on Thursday night, September 28, 2017.

The first operation by CPS-Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit happened at 7:40 p.m. in Barangay Upper Jugan where six persons were caught, yielding 533 grams of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."

The contraband is worth P6.2 million, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

The suspects are Christoper Cabajug, 45; Dante Pilapil, 26; Chris John Cabajug, 24; Kayze Ryan Oncenes, 21; Oliver Tubilan, 25; and Nicanor Jimenez, 45.

A .38 revolver was also recovered during the operation.

At 9 p.m., in District 7, Barangay Pulpogan, operatives seized P1,770 worth of "shabu" after arresting Daniel Diez, 35.

The third operation led to the arrest of Ritche Pilapil, 38; Ritchie Iwayan, 30; and Vanessa Maglasang, 38, in Sitio Pag-utlan, Barangay Tayud at 11:35 p.m.

Pilapil yielded P2,124 worth of "shabu." Police seized drug paraphernalia from two other suspects. (KAL)
