CPDRC suspends visitation privilege of 60 inmates

Friday, October 06, 2017

THE Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) has suspended the visitation privilege of the inmates in two cells inside the facility.

CPDRC Task Force member Bobby Legaspi said that contraband were found in the two cells during the greyhound operation last Thursday morning.

The detainees yielded illegal drugs, illegal gambling paraphernalia, and a flat screen television.

At least 60 inmates were affected by the suspension.

Inmates who will be found responsible behind the smuggling of contraband inside the facility, he said, will face additional cases. (Angel Mae Bellita, USJ-R Intern)
