Man nabbed for attacking 3 Oslob village watchmen

Friday, October 13, 2017

A 35-YEAR OLD man was arrested for allegedly attacking three village watchmen at 5:40 a.m., Thursday, October 12, in Barangay Mainit, Oslob, Cebu.

Senior Inspector Deni Mari Pedrozo, the town police chief, identified the suspect as Charles Ian Magdasal.

Before the incident happened, the suspect went wild and threatened to kill his family, after his parents refused to let him drive their motorcycle.

His mother called watchmen to help her in restraining him.

Magdasal did not listen. He got a wood and struck the three watchmen-Junemar Quirda, Zacarias Flores and Bienvinido Elardo-who responded to the alarm.

The watchmen later succeeded in arresting Magdasal and brought him to the police station. (KAL)
