THE Cebu City Government is expecting around 3,000 out-of-town devotees to stay in the Devotee City in Compañia Maritima for this year’s Fiesta Señor.
This is higher compared to the 2,800 recorded devotees who stayed in the facility last year.
Devotee City head Roberto Cabarrubias believes many devotees are coming to the city to thank Señor Sto. Niño after they recovered from the calamities in the past years.
Some 100 cargo containers, which can accommodate 20 people each, from 2GO Travel will provide shelter to the devotees. (Jaziel Calumpag, USC Intern)
