TO POSITION the hotel’s restaurant as the source of one of the best seafood spreads in town, the Cebu Marriott Hotel launched its Seafood Market Buffet last Wednesday.
Dottie Viajar-Wurgler, director of operations, said this seafood market buffet will give customers the opportunity to have fresh seafood cooked according to their preferences.

“All the seafood such as prawns, shrimps, shellfish and the like will be presented market-style. People pick what seafood they like and they can have it steamed, grilled, fried or cooked just the way they like it,” Wurgler said.
Although the hotel has already been providing seafood buffets to its customers, Wurgler said what sets this year’s seafood market buffet apart is that it also features delicacies, both cooked and raw.
Its supply comes from local sources so the seafood buffet is offered at a reasonable price, she added.
The Seafood Market Buffet is served on Friday and Saturday nights at the Garden Café from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. starting Nov. 6.
