THE Norkis Group of Companies will launch today a new product that is meant to address the Philippine market’s need for lighter and more economical four-wheel vehicle.
Ed Angcay, managing head for marketing of Porta Coeli Industrial Co. Inc. (PCIC) four-wheel division of the Norkis Group, said the new Spider pick-up is “more practical.”
The new Spider is a sub-compact Asian utility car that offers a comfortable and smoother ride with better suspension. It is designed for light cargo loads and is fuel efficient.
The new vehicle is fit for the transportation needs of business establishments that are engaged in delivery of light cargoes and for junior executives and salesmen.
Angcay said the new vehicle is available in cash and easy installment packages.
Spider is powered by 660cc Japan Daihatsu and Suzuki engines. It comes with two transmission variants: four-speed manual and automatic.
The vehicle will be launched today together with the opening of the Norkis Gas Savers Ka-sambagan Showroom in Cebu City.
“It is the aim of Norkis Group to fulfill the Filipino dream to be the master of his own time by providing light four-wheel vehicles built with enduring quality,” he said. (PR)
