FILIPINOS in Belgium can now send money direct to the mobile phones of their families and friends in the Philippines through Globe GCash, a micro-payment service being operated by G-XChange, Inc. (GXI).
The remittance service is the result of a recent tie-up between GXI, a wholly-owned mobile commerce subsidiary of Globe, and Belgacom International Carrier Services (BICS), a leading global carrier of voice, data and value added services to over 500 wireless, wireline and service providers worldwide.

Mobile money transfer from Belgium to the Philippines can now be done through PingPing, Belgacom’s Mobile Commerce brand, and GCASH, Globe’s Pioneering Mobile Commerce platform. GCash is the first partner of PingPing for the remittance
service.
Instead of going to a remittance outlet, PingPing subscribers can top up their mobile wallet through the web or direct bank transfer and use their cell phone to send money to a GCash user in the Philippines with the speed and convenience of a text message. (PR)
