Is it me or are there more homeless people living on Cebu City’s sidewalks?

A walk in the downtown area, or along P. del Rosario St., or on F. Ramos, or even on Osmeña Blvd. and they are there.

Sometimes, whole families. They look so comfortable and totally apathetic to the stares of passers-by as they go about their daily business. It seems like they have no intention of leaving their favored spots.

And if you wonder where they answer the call of nature, just check the skywalks on the boulevard. That’s where they leave their mark. -- Procopio J. Bonjoc III
