FREDDIE Roach reiterated his earlier prediction and said Miguel Cotto will go down in his fight against Manny Pacquiao.
Roach said Pacquiao is punching much harder this week and Cotto’s leaky defense means the fight won’t go the distance.

“Working the mitts with Manny this week … he’s punching much harder than he has,” Roach said told thering.com. “He’s getting used to the weight; he’s very used to it now. He’s just punching fast and hard. I think Miguel Cotto’s defense is not good enough; he’s hittable. And people Manny can hit, he knocks out.”
Roach believes that the 27-year-old Cotto has already bounced back from his devastating 11th round stoppage loss to Antonio Margarito last year, that’s why Roach’s strategy for Pacquiao is not to let Cotto build his momentum and to press the action early.
“The fight with Margarito, he did take a beating in that fight,” he said.
