SGG will move event to Cavite
Monday, July 11, 2011
THE boxing fans of Cebu City won't be divided on July 30 anymore as there will only be one boxing event on that night.
SGG Promotions decided to move its boxing event, the World Boxing Organization flyweight title clash between undefeated Froilan Saludar and Gabriel Pumar, to a later date and a different venue.

It will now be on Aug. 6 at the Island Cove Resort Hotel in Cavite instead of the Cebu Coliseum.
This leaves July 30 with just one event, the "Pinoy Pride 7—Battle at Mactan" of the ALA Promotions at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City.
It will be headlined by the WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight title defense of AJ Banal against Canadian Tyson Cave.
Saludar, 12-0-1 with 9 KOs, has been on a hot streak, winning all of his career fights except for a technical draw with Brian Diano last year.
