In yesterday’s game, both teams were on even terms as they took turns taking the lead and entered the fourth period at 52-all.
But ACT silenced Rollway for good after it opened with a 12-0 run led by veterans Mark Magsumbol, Stephen Padilla and Adrian Lao to take the lead for good.
Rollway initiated a comeback but could only slice ACT’s lead.
Adrian Lao led the scoring charge for ACT with 19 points. Jan Villaver added 17, while Padilla and Magsumbol added 15 and 13, respectively. Ronald Bucao completed the double-figure scorers with 10 points.
Leading Rollway was Eric Zanoria, who scored 17 points.
The winner in the tournament will go home with the P100,000 top plum.
