Liloan ousts Rebels
Thursday, January 26, 2012
WHILE the other top seeds went unmolested on their way back to the top four, the Rebels Softball Club faltered as the young and aggressive Team Landing of Lilo-an booted them out, 8-7, in the elimination round of Group C in the 2012 Sinulog Cup Men’s Open Softball Tournament at the Labangon Elementary School grounds.
On the other hand, defending champions Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology Blazing Batters hit five homers for a 24-4 regulation victory over Boyce.net/Tallo squad in four innings to top Group A, while Wirednook earned a
forfeiture win over Jagobiao-Mandaue City in Group B.
