Sinulog softball cup resumes today

CEBU’S top softball team Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology will try to keep the Sinulog Cup Men’s Open Softball title as they face off with the other top teams at the Labangon Elementary School grounds.

Challenging SCSIT Blazing Batters are last year’s runners-up Team Wirednook, the young and aggressive Barangay Landing of Lilo-an and dark horse Barangay Buhisan.

Aside from Wirednook, Landing and Buhisan are first timers in the playoffs as they booted out last year’s third and fourth placers—Rebels Softball Club and Siteworks team.

All four teams topped their brackets after going undefeated in the elimination round.
