Talisay to hold amateur boxing tourney

TWELVE local amateur boxing hopefuls from Talisay City will be tested by the fighters from Cebu City and Mandaue in the “Boxing sa Lagtang” at the Lagtang Sports Complex.
Talisay fighters Marvin Pumar, Marco Pumar, Joshua Bacus, CD Noblefranca, Kit Garces, Lemar Timario, Eric Navarro, Johan Bacus, Steven Noblefranca, Jun Michael Masong, PJ Vantic and Jun Britana will pit their skills against tested fighters.

Marvin Pumar will fight Vicente Seos-e Jr. of Cabancalan Elementary School; Marco Pumar will face Raymond Rama of the Phil-Aust Boxing Club in the 38-kilo match; Bacus will take on CD Noblefranca in the 40-kilo division; Garces will face Rhezon Tarona of Phil-Aust BC also in the 40-kilo division; and Timario will be fighting Bryan Remedio of the University of the Visayas in the 42-kilo division.
