THE northern Cebu towns will be revving with the best motocross riders in the country as they host the next two legs of the MS Motosuit Motocross 2012 Series.
Barangay Tambongon will host the second leg, dubbed the 1st Tambongon Youth Festival Motocross on April 21, while Calambua will have the third leg with the annual Ornopia Motocross Cup, on April 22.
“It’s a back-to-back races in one weekend in one town. And the following month, there will be two more races in another town. I hope the weather will continue to be dry so that our brothers in San Remegio, Medellin and Borbon towns will enjoy the races,” series organizer Lou Ornopia told Sun.Star Cebu.
After the Calambua race, the riders will be in Barangay Panugnawan in Medellin with the Panugnawan Motocross Competition on May 19 and the 2nd Mayor Butch Sepulveda Motocross Cup in Logo, Borbon on May 29.
This will be another tough challenge for the Cebuano daredevils led by Jon Jon Adlawan, who will be tested to the limit by the visiting riders.
“We will have the Sel-J Racing Team, which will be led by team owner Jay Lacnit, PSR Racing Team, which has Ted Conde and our local racing team Quickflight of Pepo Rubi in these legs. I can assure the fans that all races will be all worthwhile,” said Ornopia.
