CFA to hold refs’ training

THE Cebu Football Association (CFA), in cooperation with Philippine Football Federation (PFF) will hold a three-day referees’ training course at the Cebu City Sports Center at the end of the month.
CFA committee chairman Rodney Orale said the course aims to bring together old and new referees toward a common vision to recognize and interpret the rules of the Game.
Orale said football rules are almost always open to controversies if not interpreted well and that not all referees seem to understand the rules.
But with this training course, CFA intends to simplify the rules of the game, creating better and easier guidelines for referees to understand.
With the organization of this training course CFA is hoping to recruit new referees as well as to help advance the refereeing skills of existing referees under the CFA. (SWU Mass Comm Intern Darling Dame Imon
