Eagles open defense of Milo best titles

THE 26th Milo Best/Passerelle Twin Tournament 2012 and the 3rd CYBL D-League simultaneously kicks off tomorrow at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Gym in Canduman, Mandaue City.
A total of 11 games are featured in the opening day of both competitions, which has lured a total of 31 schools, with SHS-AdC returning to defend its crowns in both the Passerelle and SBP divisions.
The home team is gunning for a sixth straight title reign in the Passerelle division and a three-peat in the SBP class.
SHS-AdC is defending its title against 2011 runner-up University of the Visayas (UV), a merged University of San Carlos (USC) squad, Cebu Eastern College (CEC), Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT), University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), Southwestern University (SWU) and Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC).
Their younger counterparts, on the other hand, will have their hands full against USC, CEC, USJ-R and DBTC.
Meanwhile, in the CYBL D-League, SHS-AdC 2 and USC South B defend their Passerelle and SBP belts.
The D-League features a total of 17 up-and-coming squads.
