TWO hundred fifty media practitioners will strut their wares in the Cebu Press Freedom Fun Run this Sunday at 6 a.m. at the area fronting the Cebu City Sports Club.
The fun run, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola Bottlers, Philippines Inc. with the support of Cebu Holdings Inc. will release the race pack on the race day between 4:30-5:30 a.m. at the lobby of the Cebu City Sports Center.
No-shows
Sun.Star Cebu’s Michelle So, who oversees the fun run, said only those who have registered and show up tomorrow will get a race pack. The registration closed last Wednesday.
The fun run, which features men and women 3K and 5K categories, is one of the highlights of the 18th Cebu Press Freedom Week, which started last Sept. 16 and will end tomorrow, Sept. 22.
Prizes
The top three finishers in the men’s and women’s categories in each distance will receive cash prizes and medals. The Think Tankers, the group organizing the 100K series and the All-Women Ultra Marathon (Awum), is helping the organizers in the Cebu Press Freedom Fun Run. (PR)
