DBTC gets even with SHS-Ateneo, makes semifinals

DON Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) is headed to the semifinals of the high school division of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) after winning three in a row.
The defending high school division champions earned a spot in the semifinals after a 3-1 victory over rival Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) last Saturday at a drenched Cebu City Sports Center.
The soggy pitch didn’t stop DBTC from putting up a dominant first half performance against the team that beat them in the Milo Little Olympics Visayas finals.
As soon as rain started to pour, Yves Caballero hit the back of the net in the 15th minute from point blank range after the slippery football fell from the hands of the SHS-AdC goalkeeper.
Caballero scored his second goal six minutes later from a free kick 30 yards away and Moisel Alforque made it 3-0 for DBTC after dazzling the goalkeeper with a chip shot in the 26th minute.
