Slow-pitch league eyes November edition

AFTER the inaugural Cebu Slow-pitch Softball League last Sept. 29, organizers are planning a second edition on Nov. 17-18 at the Aboitiz Sports Field.
This was announced by organizer Jesse Bernad during last Wednesday’s awards night.
“This time, we will not be having a premier league division, but will be exclusively a co-ed league of 12 teams,” Bernad said.
The inaugural co-ed league was won by Veco, which beat Outkast, 5-3.
Team Veco was led by Ian John Al-Shahawy, while the rest of the members are Mark Anthony Kindica, Louie Angelo Collera, Felgie Magla-oy, Dary Bonbon, Kaizer Sedillo, Eugene Bondoc, Dindo Villarba, Iris Bermudo, Ivan Felomine, Lydio Amatong, Kira Katrina Ma, Ramonito Omboy, Jun Xavier, Alonso, Alfredo Tumagan, Edmar Quirante, Jesse Serrano, Marju Irizari, Connie Sosas and Judith Ocana.
The premier league division was won by Enerzone against Fastball-Premier, 27-20.
