Batches ‘95, ‘99 start strong

NEW Millennium Hardware ‘95 and Jepoy ‘99 started the tournament on a high note following their victories in the opening game of the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association (Cecaba) 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Sunday at the Cebu Coliseum.
New Millennium ’95 rallied behind the 22 points of Donald Anthony Ting to beat Dewfoam ’88 64-50, while Mark Eugene Bukiron dropped a double-double performance – scoring 28 points on top of 14 rebounds as Jepoy ’99 beat Young Builders ’91, 52-46.
Their victories, however, came at the heels of Pilipinas Shell ‘80s 96-64 bashing over the hapless 3R Audio ’98.
