Punta eyes 3 titles

TEAMS from traditional powerhouse Punta Princesa will shoot for three titles as the 2013 Sinulog Cup Baseball/Softball Tournament resumes today at the Labangon Elementary School.
Punta Princesa Elementary School’s T-ball team is heavily favored to bag the title as it faces Froebel Learning School. Punta’s Little League Baseball team will face Labangon Elementary School, while the women’s squad will play St. Theresa’s College (STC) for the elementary softball title.
Abellana National School will bat for the secondary softball title against Bonbon National High School, while STC will play for third place against Paknaan National High School.
On Sunday, Wirednook and Rebels Softball Club battle for the lone spot to the semifinal round in their group in the Men’s Open.
