Andrin, Carolino nab 12K titles in PCGS Fun Run-A A +A

LOVELY Fe Andrin and Jobert Carolino ran away with the 12K division titles of the Philippine Christian Gospel School Fun Run yesterday at the PCGS campus.
Carolino took the title in 41:42, beating John Philip Dueñas by 15 seconds, while Michael Largo got third place in 42:40. The three were the only runners to finish the event in under 50 minutes.
Warren Gabumba got fourth place in 50:04, while Bonifacio Monjas finished at fifth place in 55:55, just half a second ahead of Chris Burdette.
Others who made the top 10 in the men’s division were John Siegfred Agraviador (58:56), Guillermo Camajalan (59:07), Jan Lyndon Abellana (1:02:18) and Fredric Carl Te (1:02:50).
On the other hand, Andrin won the women’s crown in 1:00:18, just two seconds ahead of Christy Tutor. Cherry Andrin got third place in 1:02:36, while Veronica Ong (1:05:32) and Rochelle Tan (1:07:46) got the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
The rest of the top eight finishers are Marissa Yap (1:11:22), Christine Fernandez (1:25:08) and Melissa Manglapus (1:42:13.)
In the 6K division, Mary Joy Tabal won the women’s title in impressive fashion, finishing the event in 23:55, almost eight minutes ahead of second placer Claire Rey Racho (31:20). Tabal’s time was also good enough for third place in the men’s division, which was topped by Robert Daang in 20:29.
The rest of the top 10 finishers in the women’s division are Marites Del Rosario (38:33), Aileen Yap (39:24), Arlene Diaz (40:59),
Kimberly Borgonia (44:44), Shebamyrrh Alda (45:38), Mary Grace Cabanog (45:38), Marily Concoles (47:49), and Angela Ong (48:22).
In the men’s division, Joel Delposo got second place after finishing in 20:53, while Karl Le got third in 28:10. Others who made the top 10 were Ryle Tan (29:24), Heinz Lex Veraque (31:13), Lord Ong (32:12), Daniel Roy Aldaba (33:19), Mel Mijares (33:51), and Louie (33:58) and Joseph Ong (36:26).
Aside from the individual division, the run also had a unique 3K family division, topped by Emil Baleva and Mary Joy and Arvin Loberanes in 10:13, more than four minutes ahead of second placers Rainer, Tyrone and Royce Tan. The Eranes—Rodrigo, Maria Fe and John Joshua—got third place in 14:32, while Dominic, Daveric and Penelope Ong got fourth in 17:24.
The Chan family of Karl Adrich, Keith Andre and Ya Kiat got fifth place in 20:48.
The rest of the top 10 finishers in the 3K family division are Analou Esposo and Donabel and Marielle Zarah Dy (24:50), Isaiah Jameson, Angela Jamie and Caroline JOan Tan (26:21), Emily, Franck Ethan, and Franklyn Ong (26:22), Charlen, Shirly and Charlie Tan (29:22) and Edwin, Chunnei, Ryan and Kenny Kaw in 30:10).
In the 3K individual division, Jorry Ycong won the men’s title in 10:13, beating Reyman Deloy and Esterlito Cloribel, while Jhean Andrin won the women’s crown in 12:34. Marie Isabelle Nepomuceno got second in 19:49, while Raquel Canata got third place in 20:06.
