Cebu needs another star

WITH Cebu’s top tennis age-groupers graduating from this division, Cebu is ready to see another talent rise as the 8th Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Series is set this weekend in Kidapawan City.
According to tournament director Mario Craiz, they are expecting Cebuano upstart Mark Suson to display his potential.
“In this series of tournaments, we will be witnessing a couple of rising young tennis players, one of whom will be Suson. Several Cebuano top tennis players will be leaving the age group and Suson will be frontlining the new set of Cebuano tennis players,” Craiz said.
He added the series aims to provide a venue for Filipino and foreign junior players to be recognized and to showcase their tennis skills.
