THE cast of the Cebu Youth Basketball League ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup 2013 semifinals is all set after the elimination games wrapped up last weekend in three venues—Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Gen. Maxilom Campus, Cebu Eastern College (CEC)
and Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) gyms.
Top seed University of San Carlos (USC) North, which has a 4-1 win-loss record, will take on sister squad and defending champions USC South (1-4). No. 2 ranked SHS-AdC (3-2) faces off with the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R)-A (2-3), in the other Players10 semi-final match. SHS-AdC earned the second spot after edging out USJ-R-A, 18-15, in the only Players 10 game last weekend.
SHS-AdC-A and the University of the Visayas (UV) sit at the top spot of the Under-13 Division A. SHS-AdC-A rose to the top after two successive wins over SHS-AdC-B, 87-42, and DBTC-A, 20-0.
CEC is at third place, while USJ-R sits at fourth after winning both of their respective games last weekend. The top spot of the Under-13 Division A will be determined after UV’s games with USC and SHS-AdC.
UV maintained its grip of the top slot of the Under-16 Division A with two dominant wins. UV demolished DBTC-A, 71-48, and Abellana National School (ANS), 64-29. CEC grabbed the second slot with a 57-41 beating over SHS-AdC 1 and a 36-27 rout over DBTC-A. SHS-AdC 1 and USJ-R-A will mosty likely take the last two spots in the semi-finals.
