THE Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) pre-season tournament is now molding fast with the upcoming 6th Partner’s Cup on April 14 at the Cebu Coliseum.
Cesafi commissioner Felix Tiukinhoy Jr. met the schools’ coaches and representative yesterday at the Cebu Coliseum Function Room to discuss the rules and guidelines of the pre-season event.
“We are all set for the opening of the 2013 Cesafi-Partner’s Cup on April 14, that is Sunday and we are again expecting new talents to shine and prepare each team for the coming collegiate battle ahead,” Tiukinhoy said.
Unfortunately for foreign players, the Cesafi Partner’s Cup is only for the local players – that means UV’s Steve Cedrick Akomo and Harry Nzeusseu Djountcheu, SWU’s Justin Aboude and its new Cameroonian recruit will have to sit it out in this tournament.
Like, the past tournaments, the Cesafi-Partner’s Cup will have a barangayan format of fielding players in the elimination round, while the regular substitution will resume at the fourth.
