Seno bows out of ITF tourney

CEBU’s rising junior netter Jan Godfrey “Noynoy” Seno dropped out of the Ajay Pathak Memorial Cup/ITF Asia 14-and-under Development Championships 2013 Division I after losing to Parikshit Somani of India, 6-1, 6-0, in their quarterfinal match yesterday at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
Thirteen-year-old Seno of the University of San Carlos North Campus advanced to the quarterfinal round after routing Ngyuen Mau Vin of Vietnam, 6-2, 6-3, in the second round.
“It was a great experience for me being able to play against foreign top seeded players,” said Seno who hails from Bogo City, Cebu.
