DTCC bags 19 golds in quarterly meet-A A +A

DANCESPORTS Team Cebu City again had a tremendous show of force as it collected 18 gold medals in the 1st Quarter Ranking DanceSports Council of the Philippines Inc. (DSCPI) National Dancesport Competition 2013 last Saturday in Manila.
Aside from the gold medals, DTCC also harvested 10 silvers and four bronze medals.
The tandem of Francis Isiah Diluvio and Adreah Kiem Capangpangan, Andrew Ysla and Christine Camacho and John Paul Mocorro and Zjiana Tracy Villarta were the most productive as they went home with two gold medals in the quarterly competition.
Diluvio and Capangpangan won the Latin Juvenile A and Standard Juvenile A categories, while Ysla and Camacho dominated the Latin Junior C and Standard Junior C divisions.
Mocorro and Villarta bagged the gold medals in the Latin Junior A and Standard Junior A.
The other gold medalists were Romeo Cialbo and Mae Pabuaya (Special Event-Female Grade D Standard), Carl Nathanyl Papellero and Jasmine Labra (Juvenile C Latin), Jeffrey Benarao and Mary Mae Canillo (Youth C Standard and Latin), Jojit Cabuenas and Akiko Aziako (Latin Senior A), Jimmy Noel and Elizabeth Zetz (Latin Senior C).
The team also got gold medals from Davin Unabia and Eleanor Hayco (Senior C Standard), Ronald Ruiz and Jocelyn Versteeg (Special Event Female), Inoue Roi Rendon and Sharmaine Buen Maloloy-on (Grade D Latin), and Eo Lowen Rendon and Mary Desiree Seraga in the Special Event Male and Female Latin category.
Diluvio and Capangpangan missed their third gold medal after finishing second in the Juvenile C Latin, while Mocorro and Villarta also got a silver meda.
