STA. Cruz, Laguna—Mandaue City's Arman Dino, a victim of firecrackers, outraced Paralympian Isidro Vildosola in the last 50 meters to win the gold in the athletics T46 400-m run in the 2nd Philippine Sports Commission-Philippine Sports Association for the Differently Abled (PSC-PHILSPADA) Para National Games.

Dino, 28, who lost his right arm on New Year’s Day 1992, defied the gruelling heat to capture the first gold in athletics with a time of 58.58 seconds.
