THE Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. football tournament resumes today with three matches in the tertiary division.
League leaders University of San Carlos (USC) attempts to keep their grip at the top spot as they take on University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) in the first of three games at 8 a.m.
Defending champions University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) is up against University of the Visayas (UV) at 1 p.m., followed by a match between University of Cebu (UC) and newcomer Don Bosco College (DBC).
The unbeaten USC is gunning for its third win this season against one of the toughest teams of the league, USPF. Second ranked USJ-R will also have its hands full against fourth seeded UV.
UC and DBC, on the other hand, are both looking for their first win in the league.
USC is at the top of the table with six points, followed by USJ-R with four points.
Not far behind are USPF and UV with three points each. USPF edges UV in the rankings by goal difference.
UC has one point from a draw and a loss, while DBC has no points after two lopsided losses.
