“We had a talk with Yong and we had an agreement that we will be supporting each other for a common cause. We will be focusing on the long-distance runs while they will be more on the short distance,” said Mijares.
The run will feature a 21K, 15K, 6K, 3K and a one kilometer “run with your dog category.”
Initially, the proceeds of the run were to support the kids with cancer and the IRO, which is an advocate for equal and humane treatment of animals in the country.
However, with the recent incident last Oct. 15 magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit Bohol and Cebu. The organizers have decided to give a slice of the pie by donating for the restoration of the Basilica Del Santo Nino Cebu’s belfry.
