Honorio hopes to regain honor in One FC-A A +A

HONORIO Banario seeks redemption tonight as he faces off again with Japanese veteran Koji Oishi in a rematch for the One FC featherweight crown in the main event of One FC – “Moment of Truth” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Seven months ago, Banario lost his ONE FC featherweight title to the 36-year-old Oishi after getting stopped in the second round inside the same arena in front of his countrymen.
The 24-year-old Banario is 8-2 in MMA, while Oishi is 24-9-10.
Like Banario, the four other Filipinos that fought on May 31 also lost . Three of those fighters, all his teammates at the Team Lakay gym, are also seeing action tonight and are looking to bounce back.
Kevin Belingon (11-3), who lost by unanimous decision to Matsukatsa Ueda, is facing unbeaten Spanish fighter David Aranda (9-0). Eduard Folayang (12-4), who lost to Kamal Shalorus also by unanimous decision, will face former K-1 fighter Vincent Latoel (14-13-2). Geje Eustaquio (4-2), who lost to Andrew Leone, is facing fellow Filipino Eugene Toquero (4-0).
Two other Filipinos are in the undercard. Ruel Catalan (1-4), the younger sibling of wushu standout Rene Catalan, is fighting Khim Dima; while unbeaten Edward Kelly (5-0), the younger brother of Filipino MMA star Eric Kelly, faces American Major Overall (4-1).
