CEBU CITY completed a sweep yesterday in the football tournament of the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association, thanks to power house Don Bosco Technological Center, which represented both the high school and elementary divisions.

Dustin Drey Ramirez converted an early goal in the 13th minute to get his team going.

Jascha Tabar then took over from there and hit back-to-back goals in the 44th and 56th minutes for the final tally.

The Niños, on the other hand, squeaked past Cebu Province, 4-2, in penalty shootout in the secondary division finals.

Moises Gingoyon hit the back of the net in just five minutes of regulation. However, late in the match Alemark Jumapit equalized in the 65th minute to force the match into a penalty shootout. Cebu City converted three shots, while Cebu Province only hit one in the shootout to complete the sweep.

Mandaue City grabbed third place honors after edging out Bayawan City, 4-3, in the secondary division. Negros Oriental also barely beat Bohol and walked away with a 2-1 victory for third place.
