THE San Isidro Parish School (SIPS) of Talamban, Cebu City will take a shot against the highly touted St. Louis College-Cebu (SLCC) of Mandaue City for a spot in the Division 2 National Finals of the 2013 SeaOil-National Basketball Training Camp (NBTC) Elite League in Manila on March 6-9.

SIPS and SLCC, who took part of the Mandaue-Lapu-Lapu City Leg, will get the chance to play for the national title through a tougher route, while three-time national champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles and University of San Carlos Baby Warriors got their automatic seats.

The SIPS and SLCC finals is at noon, while the SHS-AdC and USC finals is at 1:30 p.m.

Visayas Area Regional Coordinator Rommel Rasmo said the champion in the Division 2 tournament will play the champions of the Ormoc and Tacloban City for the right to play in the national finals.

Unlike last year, there will be two Division titles at stake in the National Finals. One division is for the top high school teams in the country, which will also include the champions from Manila, Cebu City, Bacolod and Davao, while Division 2 is for the less prominent schools.
