AFTER regaining the lead, 2-1, the Alaska Aces try to end the best-of-five semifinal series when it battle Rain or Shine Thursday in Game 4 of the 39th Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governor's Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.
The 104-94 victory last Tuesday enabled Alaska to regain momentum going into today's 8 p.m. battle against second- seed Elasto Painters. They won Game1 (97-93) but lost Game 2 by 12 points (87-99) last Sunday.
However, coach Yeng Guiao remained unfazed saying, they are just alternating chances and they are prepared to again level the series back-to-square-one.
“We never expected an easy series. And that's what happened when we lost Game 1. It’s like trying to catch up every time. Para lang nag-alternate kami kung sino 'yung may advantage sa aggressiveness and intensity. If it's an alternate thing then that's what to happen next. We will take that and take it to a Game 5. Hopefully," said Guiao. FCC
