AFTER the successful turnout of Hunat Sugbo 4, which drew more than 2,000 runners last June 22, Cebu’s Parklane International Hotel (CPIH) will be giving back through a medical mission slated on July 5 at the CPIH open parking space.

The proceeds generated from the annual event—which was organized in memory of CPIH late President Manuel Ting who was gunned down in 2010—will be used to support the free medical assistance in nearby communities. They will offer optical, dental, minor surgical procedures, general consultation, and laboratory services.

For the past four years, CPIH had held medicial mission after their runs.

This year, they are partnering with Jesu Christi Community, and about 150 volunteers from the different local groups. The Gualandi Volunteer Service Program and International Citizen Service are likewise lending a hand.

Last year, nearly 1,500 patients took advantage of the services.
