After losing their season debut to the mighty Southwestern University Cobras, 69-67, last Aug. 3, the Warriors picked six straight wins, including a hairline 57-56 victory over the Cobras in last Aug. 24.

Coach Junthy Valenzuela had made wonders with his young Warriors, who banked on imports Shooster Olago and Espoir Toyambi for a share of the lead in the college division with the SWU Cobras.

The Lancers meanwhile will try to limit the numbers of the the hotscoring Olago and Toyambi, who are the dominant men in the middle along with SWU’s Landry Sanjo.
