THE Philippines finally logged its first win on the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-15 Championship 2017 after losing its first three matches in Chonburi, Thailand.
The Philippines beat Timor Leste, 2-0, at the IPE Chonburi Campus Stadium last Sunday.
Josh Rupert Asignar, one of the three Cebuanos in the roster, scored the opener in the 15th minute.
Yuki Ferrer then scored the Philippines’ second goal in the 58th minute.
The Philippines got its first three points of the tournament after losing to Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. (EKA)
