THE semifinals of the 32nd SBP Passerelle Twin Tournament backed by Milo are set after the last two remaining elimination round games were played over the weekend at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Mango Avenue Campus Gym.

Defending champion University of the Visayas (UV) clinched the No. 2 spot of the SBP division with a 62-18 beating of Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma.

Daniel Padilla yet again carried UV's offensive load with 14 points. Nicdom Canañero scored nine points for SWU-Phinma.

Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC), on the other hand, crushed University of San Carlos (USC), 55-29, for the SBP division's third seed.

Sid Reroma led DBTC with 10 points, while Alfred Rosal had 10 for USC.

UV and DBTC will play against each other in the semifinals, while unbeaten SHS-AdC takes on USC.

Meanwhile, SHS-AdC faces off with SWU-Phinma, while reigning champion UV locks horns with USC in the Passerelle division. (EKA)
