AFTER their three-week stint in the four-leg Malaysian Junior Tennis Circuit, Arthur Craig Pantino and Christopher Encarnacion won the championship title in their respective divisions yesterday in the 2010 Thirsty Tennis Cup at the Cebu Country Club.
Pantino secured the title in the 10-under unisex finals after defeating Gener Francis Lambayan, 6-2,6-0, while Encarnacion won against Godfrey Seno in the boys 12-under division finals, 6-3,6-1.
“The international exposure was really helpful for them to compete against different opponents. They learned several techniques and most especially gained more confidence in the sport,” Arthur’s mother Lourdes Pantino said.
