KENYAN Philip Ronoh finally bagged the title in his fourth try, finishing the Cebu City Marathon in 2 hours, 53 minutes and 28 seconds to rule the men’s division yesterday at the Cebu IT Park.
“In this sport you have to try and try until you succeed. Because in marathon, anything can happen, anything can affect your performance,” Ronoh told Sun.Star Cebu after the race. “I run on my own pace and I was able to get the lead in the 33K of the race.”
