Student finds tutorial lucrative

A STUDENT entrepreneur who runs a tutorial service in Mabolo City has expressed optimism in the venture this year, citing his plan to focus on the growing pre-school market.

"The goal of the business now is to tap more pre-school kids. We felt that our niche lies in giving tutorial services to this type of market," said Neil Niño Huele, co-proprietor of ThinkWell Tutorials located at Tres Borces Street in Mabolo, Cebu City.

Huele, 21, said tapping the local pre-school market will give the company an extra edge especially that more parents see tutorials as necessary for their kids to gain advance learning.

ThinkWell Tutorials offers all subjects in pre-schools such as Math, English and Science. It started operating a year ago first offering tutorials to Koreans.

Think Well, Huele said, employs education students from the top universities of Cebu.
