Toyota showcases Hybrid X

TOYOTA Motor Philippines (TMP) participated at the Philippine International Motorshow organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) last Aug. 22 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Toyota’s booth showcases the Hybrid X concept car as well as the Environment Eco Touch Panel, an interactive simulator which illustrates how hybrid technology works. Also on display are the newly introduced flagship minivan, the Alphard, the locally manufactured Vios and Innova models, and the country’s first commercially available hybrid vehicle, the Prius.

Toyota is also set to unveil the refreshed version of the top-selling compact sedan in the market, the New Corolla Altis.

Now on its third year, the PIMS organized by CAMPI, showcases a host of new products and concept cars following the theme, “Drive the
Green Road.”

As the leading automotive manufacturer in the industry, Toyota features test drive, accessories booth, as well as daily entertainment for visitors.

Concept Car

The Hybrid X rewrites the design rule book for hybrid models with creative solutions that would become the norm for future hybrid designs. Engineered to provide a multi-sensory experience, the futuristic exterior shape offers a clear and visionary insight to the interior.

Interactive navigation, driving information and comfort control allow complete driver control at the touch of a screen.

The Eco and Environmental Touch Panel features animated presentations for Plug-in Hybrid, Electric Vehicle, and Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle. The graphic display contains essential information, combined with an interactive touch-screen interface, illustrates Toyota’s vision for environmental technology.
