UC eyes semis spot vs. USPF today

THE Enervon C-University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters and the Lion Tiger Aerosol -University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers will settle the score when the playoffs of the 2010 Cesafi-Partner’s Cup Basketball tournament resume at the Cebu Coliseum.
UC will try to avenge its 67-63 loss to the Panthers last March 6 that forced today’s do-or-die match. The Webmasters finished the elimination round at No.4 and has a twice-to-beat incentive over the Panthers.

The Panthers of coach Raul Latonio however will try to finish what they started as they gun for a semis spot today.
The winner of the UC vs. USPF match will play the Ave Maria Sanctuary Park-USJ-R Jaguars in the semifinal series that will start on Sunday.
In the opening match, No.2 team Bibbo Hotdogs-Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) Wildkittens and the PTT Fuel- University of the Visayas Baby Lancers will start their best-of-three semifinal series at 3:30 p.m.
UC will also will face USJ-R in the other semis match. (RCM)
