CELEBRATING gold is no small matter, and the trustees and members of the 50-year-old Arts Council of Cebu know this only too well. So grand it was and how!

Marco Polo Plaza Hotel was spruced up to the nines for the dinner ballet presentation by prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and her top nine dancers from her Ballet Manila.
The ultra formal affair started on time, as the Arts Council is known for, amid the swishing of gowns as the trustees and their guests made their way to the buffet and back to their tables. Marco Polo did not disappoint, neither did the artists who performed as if they were in Carnegie Hall. Honest!
Lisa Macuja promised to be back, by popular request! Happy anniversary, Goldies!
