DEFENDING champions University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers marched to their fourth straight win, 67-59, over the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers in the 2010 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum last night.
Meanwhile, the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Eagles scored their second win, 90-52, against the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens, while the USPF Baby Panthers beat the hapless Don Bosco Technological College (DBTC) Baby Greywolves, 84-60.

Yesterday, UV did not display its full potentials but the defending champion still nailed a convincing victory. Harold Cincoflores was the lone Green Lancer in double figures with 12, while Phil Mercader and Ralf Olivares had 9 each.
Fritz Dajalos topscored for USPF with 11 and Lawrence Miguel finishing with 10 as the Panthers suffered their second defeat.
