WHENEVER you go, beauty will always be "in". Understandably, the search is never over. You'll never know who's lurking behind your back, looking for the "latest model", because somebody's got to replace Gisele Bundchen in the future, after all. Are you up to the challenge?
"I was not surprised," exclaimed Shao Trinidad, brand manager of Elite Model Management Manila, upon seeing the potential talent here in Cebu. She continued, "My dad is a Cebuano, that's why I know that there are so many pretty girls in Cebu."

Last June 5, Saturday, the modeling agency visited Cebu for the Cebu leg of the Elite Casting Call Tour at VUDU at the Crossroads Arcade in Banilad. The chosen bevy of beauties will be included in the agency's regional lists of models for fashion shows, advertisements and other modeling needs.
The organization is part of the international company founded by John Casablancas that launched the careers of supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Gisele Bunchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Naomi Campbell, and Stephanie Seymour.
"We've always wanted to standardize our local talents with foreign models, so we want to push our own. We would provide their working visa. We want it to be professionalized," Shao continued. "We are scouting for talents in Cebu and will bring them to Manila."
For her, the best quality a model should possess is professionalism. This includes passion for the craft, dedication to the entire process of learning the ropes, and respect for someone else's time frame.
On the other hand, creative director and well-known photographer Xander Angeles adds, a woman's beauty lies on confidence. Xander explains, "Nothing beats a woman who is sure of who she is and what she wants. If she feels good about herself, she'd look good instantly."
Apart from Cebu, the caravan covered places such as Boracay, Manila, Pampanga, and Davao. (Clint Holton P. Potestas)
