EVERYBODY calls her Honey. And she loves it that way.

Rachelle Connelly, 25, who prefers to go by “Honey”, just can’t get enough of enjoying the things she had been dreaming of since she was small.
Born to a British dad and Filipina mom, Honey grew up in Australia where she learned to become independent. Honey decided to live alone in Australia when her parents moved here to the Philippines to personally manage their company, Hollywood Nail Art.
But that’s what she loved about living alone. Being independent made her grow fully because she had always done things on her own
At the age of 16, Honey decided to stop schooling to become a professional surfer. But it’s just that she’s destined to do something else.
To have more flexible hips, she enrolled in a belly dancing class where she started to love it and soon became a belly dance teacher. It has been her job for many years where she developed her own style. She calls it “exotic belly dance” for lack of a better description.
Honey didn’t used to be hot as she is right now. She said she used to look like a tomboy, but eventually matured and became “straightt” when entered her belly dancing phase.
Aside from dancing, Honey also loves hosting and, most especially, modeling. In fact, she used to be a host in an internet television show back in Australia called Unseen TV. She also appeared as extra in some Australian movies.
“I always love being on cam, it definitely makes me feel so natural and it makes me have fun all the time”, Honey explained as she started to read out all her dreams in mind. She also loves to eat and wants to create her own name brand.
Honey wants to do a lot of things, especially with her parents who are willing to support her no matter what.
“My parents were very encouraging and they taught me how to realize my ideas even if it costs that much and I’m very thankful about that” Honey declared.
Being free doesn’t mean being “wild” for her because there’s a part of her that always longs for serenity and leisure. She wants to go to many places and experience more unusual things.
Being always on the means she’s not that ordinary. During her spare time, Honey prefers to hang out in coffee shops and just read.
Although her personality is predominantly Australian, she still has the heart of a Filipina, as everyone who’s gotten to know her realizes. “Being half-Filipina makes me feel really wonderful; hospitality always comes out of me. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and as much as I know, I’m friendly and warm to everyone”.
Inspired by her parents, Honey is set to start fulfilling her dreams. She came back here in Cebu to host a new travel show in Studio 23 entitled “Runaway with Honey”.
If everything works for her in Cebu, she plans to create a belly dance studio, an authentic jewelry shop and a boutique specializing in sexy but classy clothes. And yes, she is rather sweet, just like honey.
